Court Actions In Daviess & Grundy County

Charges have been filed in two area counties.

Daviess County court cases filed include:

A Springfield man, 39-year-old Julius Thomas, was charged with alleged delivery or possession of a weapon at a jail.  The probable cause statement indicates he had a deodorant brought into the jail when he was taken into the facility for Platte County.  A razor blade had been hidden behind the label.  He remains in custody with no bond allowed.

A man involved in a serious injury crash on September 12th at Highway 6 and Route DD in Daviess County, is charged with alleged DWI – resulting in serious injuries, DWI – resulting in injury, and careless and imprudent driving.  A warrant was issued and served on 45-year-old Jeremy David Dungy of Gallatin.

 

Three charges were filed in Grundy County court.

A Trenton man was charged in Grundy County Court.  25-year-old Kaden Scott Olmstead is charged with three counts of alleged failure to register as a sex offender and one count of alleged prior offender residing within 1,000 feet of a school or child care.  A warrant is issued for Olmstead, with bond set at $50,000 cash only.

A homeless man in Trenton is charged with alleged Stalking and Trespassing.  A warrant is issued for 43-year-old Levi Grant Bell.  He is held with no bond allowed.

A 45-year-old Trenton woman is charged with alleged violation of an order of protection.  Lori Anne Jones allegedly texted the victim, violating the order.  A warrant is issued for her arrest.  The warrant includes bond set at $7,500 cash only.
