Vaccinations Offered At Livingston Co. Health Center

As the cooler weather of fall arrives, the Livingston County Health Center is recommending a few vaccinations for county residents.

For the 2025–2026 flu season, a flu shot is recommended for everyone age 6 months and older. The Health Center has vaccines available for all age groups, including the high-dose flu shot for those 65 and up.

They also offer the COVID-19 vaccine for individuals 65 and older, as well as those ages 18–64 with an underlying health condition. COVID-19 vaccination can be given at the same time as flu or other vaccines. Vaccine supply is limited, call ahead if you want to make sure a dose is available.

Pneumonia vaccination is recommended for adults 50 and older. The vaccine guidelines have recently been updated, so adults are urged to confirm with the Health Center or their provider that they are up to date.

Adult residents can access any of these vaccinations by walking in on any Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. or 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Children’s immunizations should be scheduled by calling 660-646-5506 to set an appointment time.
