A Scrub-Seal project is planned by the Missouri Department of Transportation in the coming weeks. MoDOT has contracted Vance Brothers, Inc. to complete a scrub seal project in Daviess, Grundy, Harrison, Mercer, Putnam, and Sullivan Counties. The project is scheduled to begin Monday, Oct. 13th, on Daviess/Harrison County Route K. The contractor has tentatively scheduled five routes:
- Oct. 13-15: Daviess/Harrison County Route K.
- Oct. 16-17: Daviess/Grundy County Route P.
- Oct. 18-21: Mercer/Grundy County Route A.
- Oct. 22: Mercer County – Missouri Route 145.
- Oct. 23-24: Harrison/Mercer County Route V.
Traffic Impacts: During construction, the roadway will be narrowed to one lane with a pilot car guiding motorists through the work zone. Flaggers will also be present at intersections. The work is weather-dependent and could be rescheduled.
Several routes will be completed in Spring 2026, and scheduling details will be made available as they are determined. They include:
- Grundy County Routes BB and N.
- Grundy/Mercer County Route J.
- Mercer/Sullivan County Route E.
- Putnam County Route E.
- Sullivan County Route P.
