Tiny Homes And A Variance

Chillicothe Boards handled Tiny homes and a Variance as part of their meetings Monday.

The Chillicothe Planning and Zoning Commission heard concerns about tiny homes, where they are allowed, and the requirements.  Chillicothe Code Enforcement Officer Gil Gates says they began with a review of the current regulations.  He says there were concerns brought up in the meeting.

Not wanted in some neighborhoods.

The discussions will continue about the tiny Home regulations and how this will affect zoning and some neighborhoods.

The next Planning and Zoning meeting will be on November 3rd at 5:30 pm at City Hall.

A size variance was approved for property at 310 Second Street in Chillicothe.  Gates explained the request.

Variance approved for lot size that is less than required.

With the board approval, no additional action is required.
