Chillicothe Police Report For Thursday

Ninety-seven calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Thursday.

Officers responded to a false commercial fire alarm on East Birch Drive and another alarm on Donaldson Drive, which was due to sprinkler testing. A traffic accident at Calhoun and Elm Streets involved two vehicles, but no injuries were reported.

Police investigated a theft in the 200 block of Elm Street, where tools valued at about $400 were reported stolen.  They also responded to two domestic disturbances—one on Vine Street and another on Polk Street—with both situations resolved without arrests.

Later in the evening, officers were called to a hotel after threats were made toward the hotel staff, but the suspect refused to answer the door.
