The first of four bridge projects in Livingston, Carroll, and Chariton counties will begin on Monday. The Missouri Department of Transportation has contracted E&C Bridge, LLC to complete the bridge deck replacement project that starts with the Livingston County Route D bridge over the Shoal Creek Drainage Ditch. The bridge is located south of Ludlow.
The Route D bridge will be closed through early December. Motorists will need to find an alternate route around the closure.
Three additional Bridge projects are part of the contract. The starting dates include:
- 20: Carroll County Route JJ over West Fork Wakenda Creek, northwest of Norborne.
- Spring 2026: Carroll County Route B over Sambo Creek, south of Wakenda.
- Spring 2026: Chariton County Route KK over the Little Chariton River, north of Glasgow.
