The Chillicothe Police Department report for the weekend includes numerous calls.
Friday, Officers handled 101 calls for service. They responded to two minor crashes with no injuries, a theft in the 1000 block of South Washington and recovery of the stolen item, and a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of East Third where one man was arrested. Officers also checked on two well-being calls, and a juvenile riding a dirt bike through Danner Park.
Saturday, Police handled 40 calls for service. Officers assisted fire crews with a car fire on Washington Street and responded to a commercial burglary alarm that turned out to be false. A man turned himself in on two county warrants, officers checked on a person’s well-being, and escorted a man from a business after he was found passed out in the restroom.
Sunday, Officers responded to 39 calls. They handled several well-being checks, advised a resident to extinguish an illegal fire, recovered property later returned to its owner, and answered questions from a citizen about rehabilitation.
