The Chillicothe Lady Hornets are headed to the Class 3 Final Four after defeating Odessa 10-1 on Saturday in the state quarterfinals.
It was a total team win for the Lady Hornets, who delivered strong pitching, timely hitting, and outstanding defense.
Landry Marsh led the way in the circle, throwing a complete game while allowing just one run on four hits, and striking out four.
Offensively, Chillicothe pounded out 11 hits. Ashlynn Daugherty went 2-for-4 with a triple, a run scored, and an RBI.
