Work begins Monday on a Carroll County bridge deck replacement on Route B. The Missouri Department of Transportation will close Route B on Monday for work on the bridge over Sambo Creek, south of Wakenda.
The Route B bridge is expected to be closed through mid-January. Motorists will need to seek an alternate route around the closure.
The work is part of a four-bridge project. Work is already taking place on Livingston County Route D bridge over Shoal Creek, and Carroll County Route JJ bridge over West Fork Wakenda Creek near Norborne. Those bridges will reopen in December.
The fourth bridge is on Chariton County Route KK over the Little Chariton River, north of Glasgow. The work is set to start on December 1st.
