Chillicothe Police responded to 68 calls for service on Wednesday. The calls include:
Officers took a report of a sex offense late Wednesday morning — that investigation is still underway. Police also responded to a non-injury two-vehicle crash on North Washington Street.
Several people contacted or visited the department with questions about retrieving property or reporting minor issues, including a lost cell phone turned in during the afternoon.
Just after 5 p.m., officers checked on reports of kids throwing snow or ice at cars near West Jackson and Woodward.
That evening, officers conducted a well-being check on Smith Street, where the person was found safe. And shortly before 8:30 p.m., police stopped a careless driver on South Washington and issued a warning.
