Chillicothe’s Bowlen & Baucom Earn FBI LEEDA Trilogy Award

Two members of the Chillicothe Police Department recently earned the FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Association (FBI LEEDA) Trilogy Award.  Police Chief Jon Maples says the recipients are Sergeant Jake Baucom and Detective Amanda Bowlen.

To earn the award, they had to complete the three intensive leadership institutes:

  • Supervisor Leadership Institute – Enhancing leadership competencies for first-line supervisors and middle managers
  • Command Leadership Institute – Preparing leaders for command-level positions
  • Executive Leadership Institute – Addressing emerging challenges in modern law enforcement

Chief Maples says for the Chillicothe Police Department, the achievement means all of the Leadership Team has now officially earned the FBI LEEDA Trilogy Award.

He says this allows the department to apply for the FBI LEEDA Department Trilogy Award, which recognizes agencies whose entire Command Staff have completed this rigorous leadership series.
