The Missouri Auditor’s office released the report showing the filing status of municipalities required to file their financial reports by October 31st, for the fiscal year that ended on April 30th, 2025.
The audit report includes 18 cities, 1 town, and four villages.
Of that list, the City of Trenton is reported as NOT filing the Annual Financial Report. Trenton did file its required addendum.
Intirum City Administrator Scott Brighton says the report is accurate and that they are not happy about the situation. Brighton says they are working with their external auditor to complete the report so it can be approved by the city council and filed with the state.
