The Chillicothe Hornet wrestling team hosted Odessa and Cameron on Wednesday in a home quad, gaining valuable mat time against two strong opponents.
Against Odessa, Chillicothe fell by a score of 55-21. Hornet wins came from Riggin Isaacs (120), Damian White (132), Cason Roney (215), and Marshall Boon (106). White recorded a 9-4 decision in one of the night’s most competitive matches.
Chillicothe then faced Cameron, falling 53-24. The Hornets picked up four wins in the dual, highlighted by pins from Case Stretch (144), Jacob Montes (150), Cason Roney (215), and Marshall Boon (106). Roney continued his strong night with another fall, while Boon closed the quad with an impressive pin at 106 pounds.
Despite the dual losses, the Hornets showed fight throughout the evening, competing hard across the lineup. The quad provided important experience as the team continues to grow and prepare for the remainder of the season.
