A 2-car crash occurred Wednesday afternoon north of Chillicothe around 5:30 resulting in injuries.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, a 2022 Honda pilot driven by a 62-year-old Chillicothe man was northbound on US-65 and traveled off the east side of the roadway onto the shoulder. The man attempted a U-turn and was struck by a 2018 Chevy Malibu, driven by an 18-year-old Chillicothe woman who was headed south. Both vehicles came to rest blocking the roadway but were moved prior to officer arrival.
2 occupants in the Honda received minor injuries, while the driver of the Malibu suffered moderate injuries; all were taken by EMS to Hedrick Medical Center. The highway patrol was assisted by Livingston County Sheriff’s Office.
