Chillicothe Choralaiers To Host Show Choir Festival

Twenty-one choirs and more than 600 students have been invited to Chillicothe for the “Chilli Grooves Show Choir Festival” at the Gary Dickinson Performing Arts Center in January.  The Chillicothe Choralaiers will host the event, which includes schools from Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, and Indiana.

Choir Director Michele Phillips explains how the festival works.

Perform with choreography, costumes, and props.

The “Chilli Grooves Show Choir Festival” will be held on Friday evening, January 23rd, for two Middle School Choirs and Saturday, January 24th, for 19 High School choirs that will compete.

Phillips says the community can help with the event.

Volunteers needed for a variety of jobs.
