A single vehicle crash in Chariton County left three people injured on Wednesday morning. State Troopers report that at about 7:23 am, a 15-year-old girl was northbound on Highway 5, 5 miles south of Salisbury, and ran off the right side of the road. She overcorrected and ran off the right side of the road again, and the car overturned.
The 15-year-old driver had moderate injuries; a 47-year-old man and a 10-year-old boy were passengers in the vehicle and had minor injuries. All three were taken to the Moberly Regional Medical Center for treatment. They were wearing safety belts.
