Eighty-one calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Tuesday. Some of the calls include:
Officers responded to a person in crisis in the 400 block of Calhoun Street. The individual was transported to a hospital for evaluation.
Police took a report of a sex offense in the 1300 block of Monroe Street. That investigation is ongoing.
Officers assisted with a domestic disturbance in the 200 block of East Tenth Street, working alongside the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office.
Another domestic disturbance was reported in the 3000 block of Commanche Street, where officers determined the situation was verbal and one person left the scene.
A report of a possible dog bite in the 1400 block of Cooper Street was referred to Animal Control for follow-up.
Other calls included questions about property, a welfare check, and a report of a careless driver that did not result in enforcement action.
