November Missouri Jobs Report

The State’s Jobs report for November was released today.  Due to the Federal Government Shutdown, the October report has been skipped.  The November report shows Missouri’s non-farm payroll increased by 5,500 jobs, private industry employment increased by 4,100 jobs, and government employment increased by 1,400 jobs.

Missouri’s smoothed seasonally adjusted unemployment rate decreased by one-tenth of a percentage point in November.  That is four-tenths of a percentage point higher than in November 2024.

The monthly unemployment report for November, with a breakdown by county, will be released on January 16th.

The December jobs report will be released on January 22nd, and the unemployment report is expected on January 30th.
