Caldwell County Jail Booking

A Polo man is held at the Caldwell County Detention Center, facing charges that include alleged 2 counts of Harassment, 2 counts of Assault, and one count of Resisting Arrest.  Sixty-six-year-old Harold D. Titus was booked in Tuesday, just before 11:30 am, following his arrest by Caldwell County deputies.

At about 10:10 am Tuesday, Titus allegedly called the Caldwell County Dispatch and stated he had the legal right to shoot any law enforcement officer who came within 500 feet of him.

Deputies responded to Titus’s location and confronted him.  He failed to obey the commands of the officers and was actively resisting attempts to take him into custody.
