With just over two months remaining in the fiscal year, the City of Chillicothe is working to create a budget for the 2026/27 fiscal year. City Administrator Roze Frampton says many people are involved in the process.
City officials are working to establish the budget by the end of March.
Frampton says they are not looking at big projects that are not already in the process.
Just starting with the basics, including revenue streams.
They will also be hearing from civic groups with funding requests before the budget is finalized.
