Two crashes in the area counties left drivers and a passenger with minor injuries.
A Pattonsburg woman had minor injuries when she struck a deer Thursday morning on Interstate 35 in Clinton County. The 34-year-old woman was southbound at about 4:55 am when she struck the deer. She was taken to Liberty Hospital for treatment.
A Mercer woman and a five-year-old child were injured when the woman ran into the back of a tractor on US 65, four miles south of Princeton. State Troopers report the crash occurred at 7:05 this (Thursday) morning, when the 28-year-old woman from Mercer was southbound and was unattentive. She ran into the back of the tractor, causing extensive damage to her vehicle and minor damage to the tractor. The woman and child were taken to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton with minor injuries. The driver of the tractor was not injured.
