Livingston County Sheriff’s Report

The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department’s report of investigations and arrests includes numerous incidents.

Deputies responded to a call for a lost elderly individual near LIV 515 and LIV 510 on January 3rd. On January 9th, deputies took a report of a possible violation of an order of protection after a victim reported being watched near her home and contacted through a third party. That case has been forwarded to the Livingston County Prosecutor for review.

Deputies are also investigating a case of identity theft reported January 11th, where a county resident’s personal information was allegedly used to open multiple loans.

In another incident, deputies recovered a handgun found at Poosey Conservation Area; the firearm is not believed to be stolen.

The Sheriff’s Department also reports several arrests.

A Trenton woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated along with multiple traffic violations and later released on summons. Multiple individuals were taken into custody at the Livingston County Courthouse on active warrants or following sentencing to the Missouri Department of Corrections, with several transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center after being unable to post bond. Additional arrests included driving without a valid license and outstanding county warrants.
