Winter weather warnings and advisories continue as issued by the National Weather Service.
A Cold Weather Advisory is issued until Noon on Saturday for all of the KCHI listening area. Very cold wind chills as low as 19 below.
A Winter Weather Advisory is issued until 6:00 pm Sunday for portions of North Missouri, including Caldwell, Daviess, Grundy, Linn, Livingston, and Sullivan Counties in the KCHI listening area, with additional snowfall of 2-4 inches expected.
A Winter Storm Warning is issued for areas generally south of US 36 until Sunday at 6:00 pm. Heavy snow is expected, with 4-6 inches possible. This includes Carroll and Chariton Counties in the local area. Travel could be very difficult!
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
