A 73-year-old Brunswick man had serious injuries in a UTV crash while avoiding a deer. State Troopers report the crash occurred Thursday at about 5:45 pm, on Raphael Road, 10 miles north of Keytesville, as the man was westbound and swerved to avoid the deer. The UTV went off the road and overturned. The man was not wearing a safety belt and was taken to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
