Ninety-four calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Tuesday. The calls include:
Overnight, officers checked on a possible single-vehicle crash near the Highway 36 and 65 exit ramp but found no accident. Police also assisted an intoxicated person during a well-being check.
During the day, officers responded to several non-criminal calls, including property and landlord-tenant disputes, payment disagreements, and general information requests. Animal control handled two reports of dogs running at large.
Police are investigating a report of tampering with a victim, with a suspect identified and charges pending. A child endangerment report was also taken and remains under investigation.
The day also included suspicious activity calls, harassment questions, traffic stops, and routine business checks.
