Gallatin Boy Injured In ATV Crash in Daviess County

A Gallatin boy has serious injuries in an ATV accident Thursday evening in Daviess County.  State Troopers report that at about 5:30 pm, a 12-year-old boy was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center with serious injuries following the crash on Ridge Avenue at 248th Street, Southeast of Gallatin.  Troopers report the driver was another 12-year-old boy, who was southbound in a private field and turned sharply, and the atv rolled onto its side, landing on the passenger’s right leg.  They were not wearing safety equipment.
