Chillicothe Police Department handled more than 150 calls for service over the weekend. The calls include:
On Friday, officers responded to a report of stolen property on Washington Street. Suspects were located and the property recovered, but the owner declined to press charges. Two separate drivers — a 58-year-old woman and a 46-year-old man — were arrested in unrelated traffic stops for driving while intoxicated. Officers also broke up multiple disturbances and conducted well-being checks.
Early Saturday morning, a 20-year-old woman was arrested for underage drinking. Officers also responded to a report of an assault in progress, but both parties declined to pursue charges. Additional calls included a missing person report and several well-being checks.
On Sunday morning, officers arrested a man accused of attempting to enter multiple homes on Hickory Drive. After the suspect fled, officers used a Taser to take him into custody. He was transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center pending charges.
In addition to these incidents, officers conducted numerous traffic stops, business checks, and follow-up investigations throughout the weekend.
