The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office reports several investigations and arrests during the first half of February.
Among the incidents, deputies investigated possible adult abuse in the Dawn area, but no charges are pending. A shots-fired investigation near LIV 242 and 243 led to a search warrant in Chillicothe and the seizure of a shotgun. That case has been forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney for possible charges.
Deputies also investigated a violation of a full order of protection in Dawn, a fraud case involving an altered check, and an alleged assault in Ludlow. Reports in those cases have been submitted to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. A harassment complaint in the Dawn area remains under review.
Several arrests were made during the reporting period on active county warrants. Additional charges are pending in one case after suspected narcotics were located during an arrest.
