Chillicothe Police Report For Wednesday

Ninety-one calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Wednesday.

Officers investigated a two-vehicle crash at Highway 36 and Highway 65, with both vehicles moving to a nearby parking lot. No injuries were reported. Throughout the day, officers conducted numerous traffic stops, issuing several warnings and citations. One male was taken into custody during a late-morning stop and later released with a citation.

Early Wednesday afternoon, a female driver was arrested following a traffic stop at Business 36 and Washington Street. After field sobriety testing and a consensual blood draw, she was cited and released.

Police also responded to several disturbances. A domestic-related incident on  Easton Street resulted in a report. Later that night, officers returned to the same location for multiple 911 hang-ups, where a female subject was taken into custody and transported to a local hospital for a 96-hour mental health hold.
