Among the incidents, officers responded just after 8:00 a.m. to the 1500 block of Burnam Road for a reported child abuse case. Police determined the alleged abuse occurred in another state. A report was taken and will be forwarded to the appropriate law enforcement agency.
Animal Control was called to Hill and Wise Streets for a wounded raccoon.
Officers were called to the 400 block of Locust Street for property damage. The property manager declined to press charges but requested extra patrol in the area.
Late Thursday night, officers assisted medics with a mental health call in the 3200 block of Blackhawk Drive.
