A bridge deck replacement on Route U in Linn County will begin on Monday. MoDOT says the bridge crossing Long Branch, northwest of Bucklin will be closed until the project is complete in May. Motorists will need to seek an alternate route around the closure.
This is one of three bridge projects awarded to be completed by Louis-Company, LLC. The other projects include:
- Linn County Route B over Parsons Creek, west of Linneus, scheduled to begin May 4.
- Grundy County Route E over the Medicine Creek Drainage Ditch, east of Laredo, scheduled to begin July 22.
