Several local teams played in the semifinal round of their district tournament on Thursday night.
In Class 1 District 12 at Meadville, Brunswick defeated Linn County 64-23, and Meadville beat Hale/Bosworth 57-40. Brunswick and Meadville will play for the district championship Saturday at 4:00.
In Class 1 District 13 at Norborne, Braymer bested Hardin Central 76-37, and Orrick took down Winston 60-48. Braymer vs Orrick for the district championship is Saturday at 1:00.
In Class 1 District 14 at Princeton, the host Princeton beat Gilman City 85-49, and Pattonsburg defeated North Harrison 83-57. Princeton and Pattonsburg square off for the district title Saturday at 1:00.
In Class 2 District 7 at Glasgow, Salisbury knocked off Marceline 61-40, and Westran upset Glasgow 69-65 in OT. Salisbury and Westran will play for the district championship Saturday at 2:00.
In Class 2 District 16 at St. Joseph Christian, West Nodaway handled Albany 60-35, and Penney outlasted Gallatin 63-57. West Nodaway vs Penney for the district title is Saturday at 1:00.
In Class 3 District 16 at South Harrison, Carrollton beat Brookfield 71-63, and South Harrison defeated Lawson 64-39. South Harrison will host Carrollton for the district championship on Saturday at 1:00.
