The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office reports several incidents and arrests in the latter half of February.
On February 19th, deputies took a walk-in fraud report after a check for a camper payment was intercepted and altered. The issue was caught in time, and no money was lost. The report will remain on file.
On February 25th, deputies served a writ of possession in the 500 block of Jackson Street in Chillicothe. During the service, suspected methamphetamine residue was found on a cut plastic straw. The item was seized and the case has been forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for possible charges.
Among the arrests, 38-year-old Jeremy Lovett of Braymer was arrested February 21st for alleged driving while revoked and later released on summons.
And on February 26th, 52-year-old Davy Norris of Carrollton turned himself in on a warrant for alleged driving while revoked or suspended and no valid license. He was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center on a $2,500 cash bond.
