Eighty-one calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Monday. Some of the calls include:
Police investigated a reported theft and also advised a caller about a property dispute that was determined to be a civil matter. Officers responded twice to a residence on Easton Street—first for a 911 hang-up with no contact made, and later for a domestic disturbance where no assault was reported. Those involved were advised of the state’s 12-hour domestic rule.
Other calls included checks for a suspicious individual and an extra patrol request for another suspicious person, but no one was located in either case.
Late Monday night, officers conducted a traffic stop near Graves and Frederick Streets, where a passenger was arrested on two outstanding Livingston County warrants and taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center.
