The Livingston County Sheriff reported a busy first half of the month of March, with several investigations and arrests.
Deputies are investigating a stealing and property damage case from March 4th involving a disputed pickup truck in the 10000 block of LIV 228. On March 5th, officers assisted in the arrest of a suspect tied to a sex crime in Breckenridge, with the individual taken into custody without incident. Another investigation began March 6th after damage to a dog kennel was reported in Chillicothe.
Several arrests were also made during the period. Multiple individuals were taken into custody on active warrants, with several unable to post bond and transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center. One individual turned himself in and posted bond, while another was transferred to the Missouri Department of Corrections.
In addition, deputies made multiple speeding arrests, including several drivers clocked at more than 90 miles per hour.
