03-19-26 Budget Workshop
Capital Expenditures were one of the topics in the City of Chillicothe budget workshop. Expenditures that are on the list include:
- $450,000 for city hall that carries over
- $409,000 for police facility bond payment.
- $166,000 for Chilli Bay improvements including gel coat for the climbing panel, diving stand, and tube slide.
- $120,000 for a street truck with proper equipment.
- $114,000 for golf course irrigation system upgrades,
- $86,000 for golf course equipment, including a greens mower and fairway unit,
- $50,000 for AC replacements.
- $40,000 for an Airport side by side
- $13,000 for Parks dump trailer,
- $10,000 for Shaffer Park playground equipment,
- $10,000 for Street facility AC unit,
- $3000 for Life Flight repairs.
There were a few items that have not been considered.
- $54,000 for a minivan for the Tourism Department.
- A new laydown machine for $48,000 for the Street department.
- A new skid steer at $45,000 for the Street department.
