A single vehicle crash Saturday morning left a Gallatin man with moderate injuries. State Troopers report the crash occurred at 5:00 am on 202nd Street, at Route OO, west of Jameson, when the 42-year-old driver failed to stop at Route OO and ran off the road and struck a tree and embankment. He was taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. He was wearing a safety belt.
Troopers report four arrests in the area counties.
Saturday in Daviess County:
Troopers arrested 42-year-old Jimmy L. Stanhope of Gallatin at 8:21 am, for alleged DWI and careless and imprudent driving. He was released for treatment of injuries.
At 10:36 pm, Troopers arrested 19-year-old Marice L. Weber of Trenton for alleged DWI, Speeding, possession of marijuana, displaying plates from another vehicle, and failure to register a vehicle. He was taken to the Daviess / Dekalb Regional Jail.
Sunday:
In Livingston County, Troopers arrested 42-year-old Ryan D. Colter of Chillicothe at 1:31 am, for alleged DWI and a red-light violation. He was processed and released.
In Daviess County, at around 3:52 PM, State troopers arrested 43-year-old Michael Updegraff of Bethany for alleged possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Daviess / DeKalb Regional Jail.
