City Budget Of More Than $19M Approved By Chillicothe City Council

The Chillicothe City Budget totals $19,452,116.  The City Council approved the budget following discussions about various funds and specific items within the funds.

The budget includes a 2.5% COLA and a few wage adjustments, including in the street department for employees with a CDL.

The City transferred cash to the revenue side of the budget.  City Administrator Roze Frampton explains the reason for the transfer.

Used existing cash funds to offset transfers, creating a balanced budget.

Frampton says the budget does include several projects.

Street and storm water projects and street overlay work.

There are also several large pieces of equipment for the Streets Department, and the final payment will be made on the aerial truck refit, which is nearing completion.
