The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department activity report for the latter half of March includes numerous incidents and arrests.
Deputies responded to several domestic disturbances, including one case involving threats toward a juvenile and another that was determined to be a verbal argument with no injuries. Authorities also investigated a welfare check in Dawn that led to reports of property damage caused by an intoxicated ex-partner.
A serious case of alleged sexual and child abuse, reportedly spanning several years, was referred to the Missouri State Technical Assistance Team for further investigation.
Other incidents included a reported violation of an order of protection, theft and trespassing complaints, and a fraud report that was later resolved without financial loss.
Several arrests were also made during the reporting period, including individuals taken into custody on warrants and multiple drivers cited for excessive speeding on U.S. 36.
The Sheriff’s Office says several investigations remain ongoing.
