Chillicothe Police Weekend Report

Officers responded to 71 calls for service Friday, 38 on Saturday and 29 on Sunday including:

Friday, April 3rd

12:30 p.m., Officers responded to a two-vehicle accident at Washington and Business 36 Hwy. Neither vehicle sustained disabling damage, and both drivers were uninjured.

01:34 p.m., Officers responded to the 100 block of East 2nd Street for a suicidal person. Upon arriving on scene, officers located an individual who stated they had ingested unknown pills. The individual was transported to the hospital for treatment.

Saturday, April 4th

01:47 p.m., Offices responded to the 2000 block of Tomahawk Road for an unresponsive person. Upon arriving on scene, it was determined that the person was deceased and appeared to have died from natural causes at this time.

03:43 pm., Officers assisted the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office with a vehicle that was failing to yield to them. The vehicle stopped at Hwy 36 and LIV 259, and the driver was placed under arrest by the sheriff’s office.

07:51 p.m., Officers attempted to stop an individual who had active warrants for his arrest in the 1200 block of Monroe Street. The suspect bailed from the vehicle and fled on foot. Officers attempted to locate the wanted subject but were unable to locate him. The suspect has been identified, and charges are being forwarded to the prosecutor for consideration.

Sunday, April 5th

01:03 p.m., Officers responded to the 1500 block of Calhoun Street for a suspicious person. The reporting party stated that an individual was walking around yelling that he was shocked by the power lines. Officers located the subject and provided him with assistance as he was suffering from mental health issues.

Officers also conducted traffic stops and business checks.
