Golf Course Irrigation System Update

The replacement of the control system for the irrigation at the city owned Green Hills Golf Course was approved by the Chillicothe City Council.  Russ Madsen and Bryan  Minnis addressed the council about the replacement of the control units for each green, at a total cost of $114,000.

The staff will handle installation of the new units.

The golf course currently has someone manually starting and stopping the watering of the 18 greens on a daily basis.  The new systems will allow scheduling and remote activation and shut off of each location.
