The Chillicothe Parks Department filled an opening with a hiring approved by the Chillicothe City Council. Andrew Putnum was hired as a Park Specialist & Facility Coordinator at $18.75 per hour (with a probationary period of 6 months, then $19.00 per hour). He will start on Thursday, April 23.
The council also approved a promotion at the Police Department.
Patrol Officer William Reynolds was promoted to Interim Sergeant until August at the pay of $25.53.
The actions were taken in closed executive session following Monday’s regular meeting.
