Chillicothe High School Band And Choir Earn Silver And Gold

Chillicothe High School Band and Choir members participated in the MSHSAA Music Festival on Thursday, earning Silver and Gold awards.

For the Band events:

  • Mason Eckert earned Silver for his Alto Saxophone Solo
  • The Three Reed Queens, Helena England, Kelly Hopper, and Ava Lance, earned Silver in the Clarinet Trio.
  • The Chillicothe Golden Reeds, Mason Eckert, Carlee Regan, and Reanna Reid, earned Gold in the Saxophone Trio.
  • Alexander England earned Gold in the Tuba Solo.

For the Choir Events:

  • Mixed District Ensemble – Taylor Cassidy, Tanner Greer, Kayla Martin, Adriana Moore, and Kierra Williams earned Gold in the Miscellaneous Vocal Ensemble.
  • Junior SSA Ensemble – Emma Bell, Josephine Curl, Adriana Moore, Addison Oliver, Chloe Reeter, Keeley Ward, and Kierra Williams earned Gold in the Miscellaneous Vocal Ensemble.
  • Adriana Moore earned Gold with her Vocal Solo.
  • Tanner Greer earned Gold with his Vocal Solo.
