One-hundred-sixty-seven calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department over the weekend.
On Friday, officers made an arrest following a traffic stop for expired plates, where methamphetamine was discovered. Other calls included disturbances, an animal complaint resulting in a citation, and a report of an elderly woman attempting to enter apartments.
Saturday, officers responded to a domestic disturbance, took a report of a $200 online scam, and investigated a disturbance at a park involving reckless behavior.
On Sunday, officers dealt with multiple incidents involving individuals experiencing mental health crises, including one person found dancing on a bridge and another attempting to enter an apartment. In one case, a subject was transported to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment.
