Officers responded to a burglar alarm at a business on Washington Street early Monday morning. Police say the alarm was likely triggered by the thunderstorm, and the building was found secure.
Police also took a report after a delivery truck reportedly tore down an internet line in the 1500 block of Hickory Drive.
A subject was taken into custody Monday morning at the Probation and Parole office on an active warrant. The individual later posted bond and was released.
Monday afternoon, officers investigated a reported threat involving comments made during a remote work meeting. The reporting party was advised to contact law enforcement in the suspect’s local jurisdiction.
Later in the day, officers made a traffic stop on South Washington Street and arrested a subject wanted on multiple felony warrants.
