Grand River Flooding Continues

Flooding continues on the Grand River.  The National Weather Service reports Flood Warnings remain in place from Pattonsburg to Brunswick.

Flood warning for the Grand River at Pattonsburg

Flood Stage is 25 feet.

Minor flooding continues and the river is near the expected crest of 29.49 feet.  The river should fall back below flood stage later today.

Flood Warning for the Grand River at Gallatin

Flood Stage is 26 feet

Minor flooding continues as the river drops from a crest of 30.17 feet.  This morning, the river is at 29.4 feet and should fall back below flood stage on Thursday.

Flood Warning for the Grand River At Chillicothe

Flood State is 24 feet.

Moderate flooding continues as the river is near the expected crest, with a reading of 33.65 feet.  Flooding is expected to continue into Thursday.

The flooding has closed LIV 243 at the Chillicothe Animal Shelter

Flood Warning for the Grand River Sumner

Flood Stage at Sumner is 26 feet

Moderate flooding is occurring with the river near the expected crest at 36.54 feet.  Flooding is expected to continue into Saturday.

A Flood Warning is issued for the Grand River at Brunswick.

Flood Stage at Brunswick is 19 feet.  The river continues to rise and should reach flood stage today, with a predicted crest of 23.3 feet expected Thursday, and flooding continuing into the weekend.

The Thompson River at Trenton has fallen below flood stage of 27 feet.
