Sliced Bread Day in Chillicothe will be celebrated on June 13th this year. Susan Price, a Customer Service Representative for the Chillicothe CVB says this is a celebration of the community’s historic connection to the invention of commercially sliced bread in 1928.

Price talked about some of the activities at the Chillicothe Welcome Center at 100 Elm Street.
A variety of free family-friendly activities.
The annual Bread Baking Contest will be held at the Grand River Historical Society Museum.
Price says there are also many other activities around the community.
Wine walk, Baseball game, 5K Run, a Concert.
Trolley tours will be available and there is also the “Battle at the Grand” Bulls and Barrels event at the Litton Ag Center.
