Dudley A. Williams

Dudley A. Williams, 87, Trenton, Missouri, passed away Friday, May 22, 2026, at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.
He was born February 24, 1939, to Ervie and Beulah (Sims) Williams in Sullivan County, Missouri. On May 12, 1962, he was united in marriage to Marti Miller. They had three children, Brian, Paul and Mandy, and one grandson, Wyatt Coffman, whom he adored.
Dudley grew up on a farm outside of Osgood and later the family moved to Galt and ran a filling station for a couple of years. The family later moved to Trenton. Around the age of 20, Dudley started working at Leeds Chevrolet, where he worked for several years. He later opened his own body shop, Williams Motor Company, in Trenton, a business he owned for close to 50 years. He was a man of few words but his steady commitment was always felt. His favorite place was Estes Park, Colorado, where he loved climbing Flat Top mountain. He loved Jesus, his family and cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Brian Williams; infant brother, Jackie Williams; brother, Frank Williams and wife Sharon, and brother, Jim Williams; brothers-in-law, Robert Brown and Jim Wallick; mother-in-law, Dorothy Miller; and nephews, Ed Stickler and Jesse Miller.
Survivors include his wife, Marti; children, Paul Williams (Brian Francisco) of Overland Park, Kansas, and Mandy Coffman (Ryan), of Trenton; one grandson, Wyatt Coffman (Natalie), of Tea, South Dakota; sisters, Carolyn Brown, of Trenton, and Beverly Wallick, of Stewartsville; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Tom Stickler, of Trenton; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bruce and Ellen Miller, of Costa Mesa, California; sister-in-law, Dorothy Williams of Lenexa, Kansas; and several nephews and a niece.
There will be no formal visitation or service. Family and friends are invited to gather and reminisce at the Williams home in Trenton, on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the North 65 Center in Trenton, Missouri.
