Replacement Delayed For 104 Year Old Bridge

A 104-year-old Sullivan County bridge was scheduled for replacement beginning this week.  The Missouri Department of Transportation announced the replacement of the Route N Little Yellow Creek Bridge, west of Green City, has been delayed due to contractor schedule changes.

The bridge is now scheduled to close on Monday, June 29th, for replacement, with the work expected to continue through October.

During construction, motorists should seek an alternate route around the closure. The Little Yellow Creek Bridge was built in 1922 and has a traffic volume of approximately 405 vehicles per day.
