The annual Chillicothe Sliced Bread Day bread baking contest will be held on Saturday June 13th at the Grand River Historical Society Museum. Curator Dustin Rennels invites area bakers to participate in the event.
Three categories and two age groups, with cash prizes provided by the sponsor.
The prizes are awarded around 1:00 pm, and they also have a demonstration of a vintage bread-slicing machine.
Rennels says there are other special displays that day.
It is also Heritage Days with a variety of displays from vehicles to looms and more.
He says there will be a lot to do and see at the museum.
